Nurse Manager Position

About the Role:
Willing Care is seeking a dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to help lead their committed team in delivering high-quality nursing care and rehabilitation services in a specialist mental health care setting. As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Unit Manager to implement the agreed model of care within the clinical area. Your responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, supporting staff development, supervising the team, and promoting a safe, positive working environment. You will also participate in quality improvement programs, helping to drive continuous improvement in care delivery. Additionally, you will ensure all statutory requirements and health and safety regulations are strictly followed. You will deputize for the Unit Manager, taking full responsibility for the unit in their absence, including 24-hour responsibility.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a valid NMC Pin Registration with adherence to professional regulations. You will also require previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a healthcare setting, ideally with a focus on mental health care. Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team, are essential. A passion for delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes is also required.
