Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Consultant to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading a team, and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist opinion and care to patients with respiratory and general medicine conditions
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve respiratory services and patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • MRCP UK (or equivalent) and entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register
  • Higher Degree and postgraduate prizes and awards
  • Experience in teaching, research, and quality improvement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and lead others
