As a Consultant in General and Respiratory Medicine, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist care to patients with respiratory conditions, including COPD, complex pulmonary infections, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of our respiratory services, including the design and implementation of new care pathways and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- MRCP UK (or equivalent) and entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register.
- Experience in teaching, research, and clinical audit, with a commitment to continuing medical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to lead a team and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
