Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Health Practitioner to join our team at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Specialist Health Practitioner, you will play a critical role in safeguarding and protecting children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search and collate relevant health information from NHS providers to support multi-agency safeguarding efforts
  • Share information proportionately with partner agencies in line with policies and procedures
  • Make telephone contact with families who have been referred to the Single Point of Access
  • Support the multi-agency team and bring expertise to child safeguarding
  • Attend meetings and provide feedback to Locality Leads and Clinical Service Unit Manager

Requirements:

  • Qualified Specialist Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) with experience in health visiting or school nursing
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Public Health Agenda and the Healthy Child Programme (0-19)
  • Thorough knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Passion for working with children, young people, and families
