About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences at Tesco Property Maintenance. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate repairs with external contractors efficiently, minimizing disruptions to customers
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve common goals
  • Maintain high energy levels while multitasking, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Support the Management Team in equipment maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize equipment downtime and reduce maintenance costs

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external contractors and suppliers
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and protocols

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments and be comfortable using digital tools. Key operational skills include ONC or equivalent certification, a full driving license, health & safety awareness, and proficiency in Office 365.
