Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader Front of House to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a Shift Leader Front of House, you will be responsible for leading the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Front of House team to achieve high standards of customer service and sales performance.
  • Ensure that all Front of House operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including table management, cash handling, and inventory control.
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the Front of House area.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Management Team to achieve business objectives and improve sales performance.
  • Ensure that all Front of House staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to team members to improve their performance.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that stock is always available.
  • Ensure that all Front of House staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Restaurant Management Team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shift Leader or Supervisor in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
