We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Missing Persons Coordinator. This role is responsible for representing Nottinghamshire Police in multi-agency approaches to safeguard young and vulnerable individuals who frequently go missing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with national guidance, force procedures, and local protocols to promote best practice and reduce repeated missing episodes.
  • Assist and provide guidance to operational staff on missing person investigations.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective strategies for safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
  • Provide expert advice and support to colleagues on missing person cases.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in safeguarding and missing person investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of national guidance and local protocols.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment.
