Job Summary

This position plays a critical role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of UPS package handling facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance activities, including inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment. This includes preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment such as conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to facility alarms and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Troubleshoot complex problems that arise within the sortation system and facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Industry-recognized qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Electrical experience and proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems.
  • Preferred programming experience, including basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Clean UK driving license.
