Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Role Overview

As a vital member of the Maternal Medicine team, the selected candidate will be tasked with delivering midwifery services to expectant mothers with pre-existing health conditions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the maternal medicine consultant and multidisciplinary teams (MDT) to provide comprehensive maternity care. You will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate individualized maternity care pathways in partnership with each woman, ensuring a tailored approach to their unique needs.

Position Highlights

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Midwife to contribute to the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated to providing maternity care to a diverse group of women facing complex pregnancies, particularly those with a focus on maternal medicine and diabetes management. The successful individual will engage in outpatient care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule: Typically Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with some flexibility required. On-call band roster may be necessary.

Contact Information: For further inquiries, please reach out to the Head of Midwifery.
