Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst to join our team at Control Risks, specializing in political, regulatory, operational, and security risks in Western Europe, with a focus on the UK and Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on key issues in Western Europe, including the UK and Spain, to provide high-quality research notes and updates for clients.
  • Develop and deliver bespoke consulting projects on key issues to our clients, working closely with other analysts and senior consultants across the team.
  • Contribute to Control Risks' analytical coverage of political, regulatory, operational, or security risks in Western Europe through our online and retainer services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop client relationships and deliver high-quality consulting work that meets client requirements and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with regional and country expertise through reading, research, attendance at relevant seminars, and research trips.
Requirements
  • Significant, recent, and relevant professional working experience in an analytical role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key political, regulatory, operational, and security risk issues in Western Europe, especially in the UK and Spain.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and at least one other European language.
  • Ability to write clearly, concisely, and authoritatively to tight deadlines, while interacting with colleagues and clients in sometimes challenging situations.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and interpret events and developments of potential interest or concern to Control Risks' client base.
