Practice Manager Job in Bradford

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our accountancy firm in Bradford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the firm, ensuring smooth office operations, and coordinating team activities.

Job Purpose
  • Manage day-to-day practice operations and ensure efficient workflows across departments.
  • Supervise administrative staff and support client-facing teams to deliver outstanding service.
  • Oversee client onboarding and manage relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all regulatory and internal compliance procedures are adhered to.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely delivery of work from all departments.
  • Coordinate with senior management and partners on strategic initiatives and business development.
  • Implement systems to improve operational efficiency and enhance client service delivery.
  • Resolve client inquiries and provide proactive support to the team.

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar operational role within professional services.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage a busy practice.
  • A proactive attitude with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing workflows and supporting teams to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work closely with partners and senior management on business development.
  • Familiarity with accounting practice software (experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is beneficial).
