Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Art Director to join our team at Ninja Theory. As a key member of our Art Department, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our art team and ensuring the highest quality of art assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical development of art assets, including 3D modeling, texturing, and rigging.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director to develop and implement the artistic vision for our projects.
  • Manage a team of 2 artists, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their technical skills are up-to-date.
  • Develop and maintain in-house tools and pipelines to streamline the art creation process.
  • Work closely with the Development Directors to ensure seamless integration of art and technology.
  • Contribute to the development of our Unreal Engine 5 expertise and Character/Facial rigging skills.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and pipeline development skills to support art asset creation.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a robust and efficient art pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Art Director or similar role.
  • Expertise in Unreal Engine 5 and Character/Facial rigging.
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with pipeline development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
