We are currently recruiting for a Credit Investigator Specialist to join our team at Reed Talent Solutions. As a Credit Investigator Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving consumer credit complaints and disputes in a fair and impartial manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate consumer credit complaints and disputes, gathering relevant information and evidence to make informed decisions.
  • Apply knowledge of consumer credit laws and regulations to resolve disputes and complaints.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear and concise explanations of decisions and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure effective resolution of complaints and disputes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in consumer credit laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in resolving consumer credit complaints and disputes, with a strong understanding of consumer credit laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and evaluate evidence to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of consumer credit industry, including unaffordable/irresponsible/unsecured lending, payday/personal loans, credit cards, logbook loans, home credit, guarantor loans, goods and services bought with credit, debt collecting, credit broking, and car/motor finance.
