You will become part of a well-established leadership group within our Outstanding Children's Service. Your dedication and resolve to provide the best opportunities for children, coupled with your managerial and leadership expertise, will be greatly appreciated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of Assistant Team Managers, social workers, and family support personnel, ensuring high standards in the delivery of social work services to disabled children and their families.
- Utilize your extensive experience as a social worker to lead and inspire your team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to motivate staff and communicate a shared vision for achieving optimal outcomes for children.
- Manage budgets effectively, although prior experience in budget management is not mandatory.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong background in children's social care, preferably with experience as an Assistant Team Manager.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
