Position Overview

The role involves participating in various road marking tasks that align with our clients' expectations for excellence, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining tools and machinery.

Collaboration within a team is essential, and candidates should exhibit a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a friendly demeanor. It is important to complete tasks to a high standard and take pride in the quality of work.

As part of your development, you will support an experienced operative on different job sites, with the aim of gaining knowledge and advancing within the organization.

Qualifications

Experience in highway maintenance or the construction sector is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Applicants should possess:

  • A valid UK driving license (required)
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Effective time management skills
  • The capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • The ability to perform manual handling tasks

WJ South West offers opportunities to obtain an NVQ, acquire your CSCS card, as well as training for LGV License, ADR License, 12DT1 Traffic Management, Forklift operation, and other Health & Safety certifications.
