They are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:
- Recover outstanding customer debts through various communication methods, including phone calls, written correspondence, and digital channels.
- Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to establish suitable repayment plans and financial agreements with clients.
- Develop debt collection strategies tailored to individual customer circumstances and company policies through effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Investigate and resolve any disputes or discrepancies related to outstanding debts.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all communication and collection activities.
- Provide regular updates on collection status to the Credit Control and Group Finance Manager.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft initial correspondence and manage ongoing communication.
- Prepare documentation for legal proceedings and manage litigation processes.
- Possess knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection.
- Work independently to achieve targets and objectives.
- Handle Money Claims Online, including issuing claims leading to County Court Judgments (CCJs).
- Liaise with third parties regarding debt collection matters.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of Debt Recovery Processes.
- Confident and self-aware, with the ability to communicate in a professional manner.
- Capable of maintaining performance under pressure and in challenging situations.
- Skilled in building and sustaining long-term professional relationships, both internally and externally.
- Produce high-quality work, ensuring accurate recording and analysis of systems and business intelligence.
- Demonstrate effective organizational skills to meet priorities, goals, and deadlines.
