They are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:
- Manage the recovery of outstanding customer debts through various communication methods, including phone, written correspondence, and digital platforms.
- Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to establish feasible repayment plans and financial agreements with clients.
- Develop effective debt collection strategies tailored to individual customers and the organization.
- Investigate and resolve any disputes or discrepancies related to outstanding debts.
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and collection efforts.
- Provide regular updates on collection status to the Credit Control and Group Finance Manager.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft initial correspondence and manage ongoing communication.
- Prepare documentation for legal proceedings and manage litigation processes.
- Possess knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt recovery.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Handle Money Claims Online, including the issuance of claims and managing CCJs.
- Communicate and collaborate with third parties regarding debt collection matters.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- In-depth understanding of debt recovery processes.
- Confident and self-aware, with the ability to communicate in a professional manner.
- Capable of maintaining performance under pressure and in challenging situations.
- Ability to cultivate and sustain long-term professional relationships both internally and externally.
- Produce high-quality work, ensuring accurate record-keeping and effective analysis of business intelligence.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet goals, and adhere to deadlines.
