Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils with special educational needs and complex learning difficulties.

About the Role:
  • Support pupils with SEN and complex learning difficulties in a primary school setting
  • Work alongside teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with personal care and daily living skills
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to pupils
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of Literacy and Numeracy
  • Good educational background (CACHE L3 or above)
  • Desire to work with students with moderate and complex learning difficulties
  • Previous experience is desirable, but consideration will be given to applicants with relevant skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for supporting children and their learning
  • Ability to work well on your own and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and sense of humour
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Willingness to undertake personal care of pupils
  • High standard of written and spoken English
