SEN Teaching Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic primary school in Lambeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN needs and be able to provide high-quality support to pupils with ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the school's EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) to ensure the best possible outcomes for the pupil.
  • Provide individualized support to the pupil, adapting to their needs and abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to discuss any changes in the pupil's behavior or progress.
  • Develop and implement flexible learning approaches to meet the pupil's unique needs.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Cache/NVQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Autism (Level 1) and experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and flexibility to build strong relationships with the pupil and school staff.
