Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housing Assistant to become part of the Income Recovery & Financial Inclusion team for a temporary period. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to transition into a career in Housing.

The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support, enabling team members to focus on their responsibilities outside the office. You will engage positively with both colleagues and clients, demonstrating a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents in our communities. This entails actively considering the views and priorities of our customers in all service delivery aspects.

As site visits may be required, the ability to navigate and access various locations independently is essential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Understanding of social housing functions and an appreciation for the third sector's role in supporting diverse populations, including those facing social or financial challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment while adhering to established procedures and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Flexibility and willingness to follow managerial directives.
  • Adaptability to evolving work practices.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Persistence in handling diverse responsibilities.
