Overview

Friisberg & Partners International is seeking a seasoned Managing Director to spearhead the next chapter of growth for a leading manufacturing firm specializing in plastic injection moulding. This role is pivotal in steering the organization towards enhanced operational excellence and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall business operations and ensure the achievement of financial targets.
  • Leverage the strong brand presence to drive strategic initiatives in product development, marketing, and distribution.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group CEO and CFO to align business strategies with corporate objectives.
  • Lead a team of directors across finance, operations, and commercial sectors to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Focus on sales growth, particularly in international markets, while enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Address immediate challenges such as implementing new systems and expanding market reach.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Managing Director or in a similar executive role within a high-growth manufacturing environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with a history of managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership skills, capable of inspiring and developing a senior management team.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards within the workplace.
  • Willingness to relocate or commute as necessary for the role.
