About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Gynaecology Outpatient Department as a Gynaecology Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, advocating for patients' needs, and working collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical, social, and psychological support to patients, utilizing advanced communication skills, education, and health promotion to enable them to reach an optimum level of independence and health.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice, and take responsibility for the development of care systems, protocols, and guidelines, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Lead and promote programs of health education and health promotion relevant to the service and work within national policy frameworks relevant to the service and trust local guidance.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably in gynaecology or a related field.
  • Proven post-registration experience, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of gynaecology, women's health, and related issues, including fertility, sexual health, termination of pregnancy, and pregnancy loss.
