About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Development Administrator to join our team at Intertek. As a Business Development Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business development team by providing administrative tasks, coordinating meetings, managing databases, and assisting with marketing and research activities.

About You
  • Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in business development or sales.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
About the Opportunity
  • Providing initial responses to leads and assigning any positive replies to the most appropriate BD lead.
  • Working with sales platforms such as Pharmatargetting and Global Data to identify potential clients and make initial introductions to Intertek solutions.
  • Researching and maintaining awareness of competitor services and marketing activity.
  • Researching potential clients and identifying stakeholders within to make initial introductions to Intertek's solutions.
  • Trending issues or needs within Intertek's target sectors.
  • Supporting the team in event preparation, including using partnering tools and platforms to arrange meetings with suitable BD leads and consequently provide that lead with information on the potential client.
