Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand Fermtech's market presence.
- Create and develop sales & marketing materials and collateral to effectively communicate the value of Fermtech's innovative ingredients.
- Lead the development of pricing strategies that align with market conditions and company objectives.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the food manufacturing, retail, and distribution sectors.
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay informed about industry trends and emerging opportunities.
- Represent Fermtech at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and establish the brand in the market.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with product capabilities and customer needs.
- Provide regular reports on commercial performance, including pipeline management, forecasting, and achievement of sales targets.
- Develop commercial and financial models for the sales and future sales of the business.
- Proven experience in a sales or commercial role with a successful track record of developing and executing sales strategies.
- Experience in the food technology, protein, or flavour ingredients sectors is highly beneficial.
- Strong ability to create and develop sales & marketing materials and collateral from the ground up.
- Experience in developing pricing strategies that align with market trends and business goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a start-up environment.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, primarily within the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
- Good numeracy and ability to build financial models.
