Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and companionship to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support clients with meal planning and preparation, ensuring their dietary requirements and preferences are met.
  • Carry out light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities as required.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the Office Team.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and the Office Team, ensuring open communication and respect.
Requirements:
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Reliability and punctuality are crucial for this role.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
  • Willing to undergo security checks required for the role.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13 between 09:00am - 06:00pm, £14 per hour outside of these hours, and double rates on Bank Holidays.
