We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Peterhead. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service user, enabling them to live a fulfilling and independent life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to our service user, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication, and nutrition.
- Support our service user in engaging in activities they enjoy, such as art and crafts, cooking, and socializing.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of our service user.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our service user at all times, adhering to our behavior support plan and reporting any concerns to the relevant authorities.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care and support.
- Enthusiasm and passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and anxiety.
- Compassion and empathy in providing care and support that respects the dignity and autonomy of our service user.
- Ability to manage challenging behavior and work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective support strategies.
- Physical fitness to perform the demands of the role, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.32.
