Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Community Accountant / Finance Officer to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. As a Community Accountant / Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and growing our current service in providing high-quality community accountancy services to voluntary and community organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including accruals and receipts and payments.
- Develop and deliver high-quality community accountancy services to clients.
- Provide expert advice on financial management and practice to voluntary and community organisations.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience of accounts preparation and bookkeeping.
- Knowledge and understanding of computer-based accounting systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Xero), SORP and Charity/Company law.
- Good experience of using Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence through a positive and respectful approach.
