Human Resources Business Partner

Bucks Skills Hub is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our managers with day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns
  • Oversee absence management, ensuring that employees are supported and that business operations are minimally disrupted
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including developing and implementing recruitment strategies and managing the recruitment process
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordinating with payroll and other departments as needed
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing
  • Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving processes and enhancing the employee experience
Requirements
  • Chartered Member of Institute of Personnel and Development
  • First Degree or equivalent
  • A detailed practical knowledge of Employment Law and Good Employment Practices
  • Experience in a service industry, education, or local government
  • Implementation of HR plans and professional involvement in at least one of: reward management, salary administration, performance management, employee relations HR administration
  • Managerial/administrative involvement in change programmes and reorganisations
  • Experience of advising in respect of disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings
  • Experience of dealing with Employment Tribunals
  • Experience of managing Payroll departments
