Account Executive

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, handling daily client queries and booking requests, supporting the recruitment of new interpreters, and managing our existing interpreter pool.
Key Accountabilities:- Building strong relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identifying potential client dissatisfaction and escalating to Senior Management.
- Handling supplier queries and dealing with any issues in a timely manner.
- Ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to, including GDPR and information security.
- Booking interpreters via phone, email, or online portal.
- Liaising with linguists and clients.
- Careful selection of interpreters and negotiation of fees.
- Sourcing and assessing new interpreters to ensure continued growth of the supplier pool.
- Placing adverts on relevant job boards, vetting applications, and managing responses.
- Maintaining positive relationships with interpreter communities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and experience of working with CRMs is essential.
Requirements:- Excellent telephone manner.
- Able to deal with challenges and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Another language is beneficial but not essential.
- Organised and detail-oriented.
- The ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills i.e. tact, sensitivity, ability to listen and to be assertive.
- The ability to work quickly, flexibly, and effectively in response to requests made at short notice.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Able to commute or relocate to Newbury RG14 1LA.
