Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Design Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a Design Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of interior trim components for a leading automotive manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and development of interior trim components, ensuring they meet customer requirements and are cost-competitive.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacture and assembly.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
  4. Conduct cost breakdown analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction.
  5. Work with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
  6. Travel globally to support project work and collaborate with international teams.

Requirements:

  1. Design engineering qualification (BSc or MSc in Design Engineering or related field).
  2. Proven experience in automotive design and development, with a focus on interior trim components.
  3. Strong understanding of design for manufacture and assembly principles.
  4. Excellent communication and project management skills.
  5. Valid driving license and ability to travel globally.
