Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Raytheon Technologies

Job Summary:

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our ATMS Business Area. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality management system processes and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Quality Working Groups to diagnose and mitigate product non-conformities identified internally and externally.
  • Submission and maintenance of budgets for the QA activities in the ATMS Business area.
  • Providing advice to the Business Area Lead and all Program Leads on the quality aspects of the work being undertaken.
  • Quality support to program reviews.
  • Perform the quality activities within the ATMS Programs in support of the respective Quality Assurance Plans.
  • Customer liaison on any External Customer quality audits or meetings.
  • Perform and Manage Internal process audits across the Advanced Product & Sensors business areas.
  • Concession management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Planning and conducting quality activities.
  • Writing and reviewing Quality Plans, reports, and plans.
  • Developing and maintaining sound, productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Problem solving to ensure the programs can meet their needs while still achieving the agreed quality requirements.
  • Performing audits of products and processes within a program or business.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels and technical SMEs.
  • Analyzing Quality data and manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement and preventative action initiatives to reduce quality costs.
  • Coaching and guiding other team members and stakeholders in the needs of the business from a QA perspective.

Essential Knowledge/Experience:

  • Flexible and positive attitude. Team Player.
  • Experience of problem solving and resolution. Effective presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Internal Auditing, and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Experience of working within a Quality Assurance team supporting one or more programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all business levels.

Desirable:

  • ISO Auditor Trained or Knowledge of Standards ISO9001 and/or AS9100.
  • Knowledge of DAOS, RESA, AQAPs.
