Position Overview

A dedicated Service Engineer is sought for a permanent, full-time opportunity. This role involves working with a team of skilled engineers, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of various machinery and equipment.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary of £40,000
  • Standard working hours from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • One-hour break included in the workday
  • Overtime compensation applicable after 37.5 hours per week
  • Company vehicle provided for work-related travel
  • 34 days of annual leave, inclusive of public holidays
  • Participation in a cycle-to-work initiative
  • All travel expenses covered for overnight stays
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate within a compact team of engineers, servicing customer locations across the UK
  • Handle the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of machinery
  • Engage with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as electrical control systems
  • Deliver technical guidance and training to clients
Candidate Profile
  • Ability to work in environments where food and beverages are present
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
  • Possess an engineering qualification with relevant experience in commercial equipment
  • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Capable of interpreting wiring diagrams and conducting fault diagnosis
  • Strong understanding of process control, including electrical and electronic systems (PLCs)
