As a Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department, working closely with our field-based engineers and internal departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate a team of field-based engineers, utilizing company technology tools to monitor engineer efficiencies and provide customer satisfaction.
- Cover during absence/holidays for Service Coordinator colleagues.
- Take incoming calls from customers and suppliers, providing excellent communication and customer liaison services.
- Support the Service team in scheduling, booking, and cancellations.
- Instruct and authorize sub-contractors, such as tyre suppliers and coded welders.
- Process quotations and estimates, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor and update daily and monthly monitors, including job sheets and timesheets.
- Ensure a timely and efficient flow of out-work purchase orders and GRNs, logged and forwarded to the Purchase Ledger department.
- Accurately invoice and collate job sheets to invoices before posting to customers.
- Experience working in a service office environment with mobile engineers.
- Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, motivational skills, and the ability to use your own initiative.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and drive the Service team.
