Infrastructure Support Specialist - Data Management & Backup Solutions

This role offers a fixed-term salaried contract with flexible working options available.

Location:

On-site in Duxford, Cambridgeshire.

Work Arrangement:

Predominantly in-office with one remote working day each week.

Key Skills for Infrastructure Support:
  • Proven experience in supporting high-performance PC workstations and Windows Server environments.
  • Familiarity with NAS, SAN, Fibre Channel connections, and LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Comprehension of various image, audio, and video file formats.
  • Capability to deliver first and second-line technical assistance.
  • Experience in managing substantial data flows and utilizing Veeam for data backup.
  • Understanding of backup methodologies and technologies.

Position Overview:

As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, your role will involve the upkeep and support of the Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) alongside the related IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing first and second-line technical support.
  • Overseeing data management and Veeam backup processes.
  • Supporting and managing the infrastructure components of the DAMS.
  • Resolving incidents through the IT Service Desk.
  • Assisting with network operating systems and IP protocol support.
  • Implementing IT security updates and patches.
  • Contributing to the development of business continuity strategies.
