Technical Infrastructure Support - Data Backup & DAMS Support

This position offers a fixed-term salaried contract with flexible work arrangements available.

Location:

On-premises role in Duxford, Cambridgeshire.

Hybrid Work Model:

Four days in the office and one day remote.

Key Skills for Technical Infrastructure Support:
  • Proven experience in supporting high-performance PC workstations and Windows Servers.
  • Familiarity with NAS, SAN, Fibre Channel connections, and LAN/WAN.
  • Knowledge of various image, sound, and video file formats.
  • Capability to deliver first and second-line technical assistance.
  • Experience in managing substantial data flows and Veeam data backup solutions.
  • Understanding of backup technologies and procedures.

Applicants must reside in the UK and possess the right to work.

Position Overview:

As a member of the Technical Infrastructure Support team, your responsibilities will include maintaining and supporting the Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) along with its associated IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing first and second-line technical support.
  • Overseeing data flow management and Veeam data backup.
  • Supporting and managing the infrastructure components of the DAMS.
  • Resolving incidents through the IT Service Desk.
  • Supporting network operating systems and IP protocols.
  • Implementing IT security updates and patching.
  • Assisting in the development of business continuity plans.
