We are seeking a dedicated Case Finalisation Administrator to support the operational needs of the criminal justice framework.
Working Hours
This position operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, totaling 37 hours per week.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have resided in the UK continuously for a minimum of three years due to specific criteria.
Key Responsibilities
As a Case Finalisation Administrator, your primary duties will include:
- Updating the Force Crime Database and the Police National Computer regarding non-court resolutions, including various sanctions and warnings.
- Managing the return, disposal, or destruction of seized items in accordance with established guidelines.
- Finalising case files upon conclusion, ensuring all necessary documentation meets quality standards.
Role Duties
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Data input, retrieval, and presentation using computer systems.
- Reviewing, retaining, and disposing of records and information appropriately.
- Ensuring proper handling and storage of property.
- Providing expert advice and knowledge.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
- Gathering information to support necessary actions.
- Producing and presenting documents efficiently.
Required Training
Specific training will include:
- PNC Names/Offence Processing
- CIS Basic and Process
- OIS Basic
- NSPIS Case Preparation
- Understanding of the Criminal Procedures and Investigation Act 1996
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate:
- Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System.
- Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Familiarity with CPIA.
- Understanding of the Police National Computer.
- A minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
