About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing the monthly payroll for approximately 80 employees, completing payroll reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process the monthly payroll for a large number of employees.
- Complete payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with HMRC to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Deal with payroll queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Liaise with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain and update employee records, including starters and leavers.
- Ensure compliance with right to work checks for new starters.
- Support hiring managers with recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Manage the HR inbox and provide administrative support.
Requirements
- Recent experience in payroll, preferably in a similar role.
- Seeking a part-time position with flexible hours.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
