About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing the monthly payroll for approximately 80 employees, completing payroll reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process the monthly payroll for a large number of employees.
  • Complete payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with HMRC to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Deal with payroll queries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Liaise with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including starters and leavers.
  • Ensure compliance with right to work checks for new starters.
  • Support hiring managers with recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Manage the HR inbox and provide administrative support.

Requirements

  • Recent experience in payroll, preferably in a similar role.
  • Seeking a part-time position with flexible hours.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
