This role is perfect for a Quality Technician aiming to progress to an Engineer position or for candidates with several years of experience in Quality Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute audits on products, processes, and systems.
- Establish corrective and preventive measures.
- Resolve internal and external non-conformities.
- Conduct product measurements, inspections, and testing procedures.
- Compile quality reports and interpret data, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Capability Studies.
- A relevant engineering qualification is required.
- Proficiency in 8D problem-solving methodologies and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
- Familiarity with Lean Tools and Techniques is essential.
- Understanding of Integrated Management Systems.
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans, and Process Flow documentation.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Competitive salary range of £33,000 - £36,000 per annum, based on experience.
- Standard day shift, Monday to Friday.
