Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

NHS Scotland is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services, and we are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to work with GP practices as part of a multi-professional practice team to optimise quality, evidence-based and cost-effective use of medicines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the pharmacotherapy service of the Scottish GP Contract
  • Work with GP practices to optimise the use of medicines
  • Provide clinical pharmacy input to primary care settings
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills
