QHSE Manager

We are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and driving the operational and functional SHEQ management for a leading UK provider of industrial water treatment solutions.
The Role:- Lead QHSE management, ensuring continual improvement and compliance with ISO standards.
- Foster a positive QHSE culture by engaging stakeholders and embedding best practices.
- Develop and manage QHSE systems in collaboration with management and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE legislation and industry standards.
- Facilitate audits from certification bodies, customers, and other parties.
- Manage industry audits such as Achilles and CHAS.
- Maintain IMS Health & Safety register and Environmental legal registers.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, ensuring thorough documentation and corrective actions.
- Conduct internal QHSE audits, oversee corrective actions, and produce management reports.
- Deliver QHSE inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety awareness initiatives.
- Manage document control to meet standards and operational needs.
- Support frameworks, tenders, and customer inquiries.
- Oversee equipment inspections, lifting, and calibrations.
- Manage COSHH assessments and conduct DSE assessments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Experience as a QHSE manager.
