About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Reporting to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for leading our financial reporting processes and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accountants and financial analysts to prepare and review financial reports, including quarterly and annual reports under IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial reporting function.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and other senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including Solvency II and PRA returns.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, preferably in an insurance company.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop insights.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, as well as regulatory requirements such as Solvency II and PRA returns.
