Job Description

Woodland Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Support Specialist to join our team at our Head Office in Chelmsford, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vital support to the Management Accounts team, working in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Liaise with suppliers and external offices for the Woodland Group division.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, daily bank reconciliation, account analysis, month-end analysis, and ad-hoc purchase ledger tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accounts role, ideally within a high-transaction environment.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Natural ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously when required.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and open-mindedness in response to changing priorities and challenges.
