Job Title: Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Manchester. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and providing a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or individuals with experience in youth work to begin their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with the unit's faculty to promote the facility's values and provide targeted interventions to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN in a Pupil Referral Unit setting
  • Provide targeted interventions to students during lessons and break times
  • Work closely with the unit's faculty to promote the facility's values
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEN students or in a youth work setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to promoting the facility's values and supporting students
