Job Title: Youth Worker

Job Summary:
  • Provide support to students with SEN in a PRU setting
  • Work closely with the unit's faculty to promote a progress-driven curriculum
  • Deliver targeted interventions during lessons and break times
  • Contribute to the development of individual EHCPs
Key Responsibilities:

As a Youth Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with SEN in a PRU setting, including those with EHCPs
  • Working closely with the unit's faculty to promote a progress-driven curriculum and support student progress
  • Delivering targeted interventions during lessons and break times to support student learning and well-being
  • Contributing to the development of individual EHCPs and supporting students to achieve their goals
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with SEN students, preferably in a PRU setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

We offer a competitive rate of pay, £84+ per day through PAYE, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated and passionate team. As a Youth Worker with Teaching Personnel, you will also have access to ongoing CPD opportunities, including Team Teach and Prevent training.
