Job Title: Trainer - HMP Millsike

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer to join our team at HMP Millsike, a revolutionary new prison facility that is transforming the industry. As a Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our training and development programs from day one, designing, developing, and delivering top-tier training for our prison colleagues.

About the Role:

As a Trainer at HMP Millsike, you will be responsible for creating inclusive content for Level 3 and Level 4 CET assessment and internal quality assurance accredited programs. You will lead high-quality training sessions for prison staff, ensuring they are fully supported throughout their qualification journey. You will also provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance the learning experience for your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop training programs that meet the needs of our prison colleagues
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions that meet the highest standards
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to support the learning and development of our colleagues
  • Actively promote our training programs within the prison, driving efficient enrolment
  • Maintain impeccable documentation for External Quality Assurance visits and manage processes to meet awarding organisation criteria
What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a Trainer who has a strong background in coaching and mentoring, working with external awarding organisations, curriculum development, and continuous improvement. You will have a Level 5 Teaching Qualification, Level 2 in Maths and English, Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Education, and Level 4 Certificate in Leading the IQA of Assessment Processes and Practice. You will also have strong communication, time management, adaptability, and a commitment to safeguarding and equality.
