About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team at Healthshare Group. As a Sonographer (General and MSK), you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with national guidelines and agreed local protocols.
  • Assess and prioritize ultrasound referrals, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and high-quality imaging services.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality assurance initiatives to maintain and improve service standards.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in MSK and General Ultrasound, staying up-to-date with latest technologies and techniques.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior Sonographers, promoting professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of imaging protocols, systems of work, and quality assurance measures.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound (DMU) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in MSK and General Ultrasound, with a strong understanding of relevant protocols and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage time, and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites, with a willingness to adapt to changing service demands.
