Staff Nurse - Fracture/Orthopaedic Outpatients

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Fracture and Orthopaedic team at Bassetlaw Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Outpatient service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a nurse-led dressing clinic, ensuring effective wound care and patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate additional and cancelled clinics, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.
  • Assist in ordering stock for the department, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Person Specification:

  • Able to work flexibly, with good attendance and a willingness to adapt to changing demands.
  • Knowledge of Trust Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications/Training:

  • Up-to-date knowledge of professional issues.

Experience:

  • RGN Level 1 or 2.
  • Previous experience in Orthopaedics or a related field.
