Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will engage with female clients in secure and psychiatric care settings, focusing on those with Personality Disorders and various Mental Health challenges.

As a Psychological Support Associate, you will play a vital role in assisting with evaluations, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions for our clients, all under the guidance of a Senior Psychologist. Your responsibilities will also include administrative tasks related to clinical operations, such as conducting audits, gathering data, and contributing to research initiatives.

Your Role Will Involve:

Assisting in psychological evaluations and treatment planning Facilitating therapeutic interventions on an individual and group basis, while monitoring their effectiveness Supporting the design and delivery of specialized training for staff Contributing to reflective practice sessions for team members Maintaining clinical records and databases Completing assessments and outcome measures Preparing reports for diverse audiences Engaging in service evaluation and research activities, including data collection and analysis Conducting relevant clinical audits

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A minimum of an upper second-class honours degree in Psychology, qualifying for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Prior experience as an Assistant Psychologist in a forensic or mental health environment Proficiency in managing office systems and performing administrative duties Innovative thinking, clinical effectiveness, and a strong commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practices Excellent organizational abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adherence to professional standards, including HCPC conduct and BPS ethical guidelines
