About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team at Allen & York (Built and Natural Environment) Ltd. As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day project management of Geo-environmental Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in the project management of Geo-environmental Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Design, oversee, and validate aspects of remediation works, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare interpretative geotechnical and environmental reports, providing actionable insights to clients.
Requirements
  • A good first degree in Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Environmental Science or similar, with relevant experience in environmental site investigation techniques and logging to BS5930.
  • Proficiency in Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental report writing, with a working knowledge of current contaminated land requirements.
  • An MSc or similar post-graduate qualification would be advantageous.
  • A good knowledge of standard computer programmes such as MS Office, with a basic knowledge of AutoCAD being advantageous.
  • A full driving licence is considered essential.
