We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Crisis Single Point of Access Clinician to join our team at the North London Mental Health Partnership. As a key member of our Crisis Hub, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare advice and support to individuals in mental health crisis.

About the Role

As a Crisis Single Point of Access Clinician, you will be responsible for assessing and managing individuals in mental health crisis, providing sound decision-making skills and effective communication to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will work closely with our clinical and managerial leadership structure to develop and implement crisis safety plans, and provide guidance and support to junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage individuals in mental health crisis, using sound decision-making skills and effective communication
  • Develop and implement crisis safety plans, working closely with clinical and managerial leadership
  • Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues, promoting professional development and growth
  • Collaborate with our clinical and managerial leadership structure to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare advice and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC Registration as RMN, or current registration with a relevant professional body
  • Previous experience as a clinician in an acute or community mental health setting
  • Ability to implement policies and procedures, leading their implementation where appropriate
  • Able to evidence current and practice knowledge of legal, social, clinical, managerial and policy issues related to the clinical specialty and the wider NHS
  • Knowledge of a full range of therapeutic skills and approaches, supported by further training in the specialty and management practice
